1. I dont understand way your character doesn't get to meet and know the other Wardens?
2. I also dont understand how it takes almost half year to a year to get to Ostagar from Orzammar, and not learn a thing about the Grey Wardens or Duncan? Or is it a half year to a years worth of walking and not learning a thing.

The Year differance is dialog continuity error since they will say that if you go to orzamaar right after lothering or if you go there before the landsmeet or later.
The events of Origins take place over 10 months is the officialy accepted time frame. A year is generalising it. (People have actualy done the math on this cross referanceing time referred in game, the tabletop rpg, and also doing math and travel calculation based on distance and walking/riding speeds). Awakening takes place about 5-6 months after this.

And dwarven noble is only background protagonist that actully meets other grey wardens than Duncan, Alistair, Riordan and depending on your choise Loghain.

Plus that mercenary band before you get to orzammar's gate and that fellow whit big mouth front of gate have been made so that you wouldnt go there 1st.. and you need to remember that your protagonist and alistar are knocked down and are out for couple extra day.

I go to Orzamaar after Lothering.
I like to get Ohgren first since I enjoy the character and all his unique dialog most people miss out on since they always get him last usualy.
Of note taking Ohgren to the Circle Tower has some intresting responses. Particularly when he gets stuck in the Fade. Matter of fact if you have Ohgren with you when you do the circle tower then import that game into Awakening Ohgren has some special dialog when you get trapped in the Fade again in the Black Marsh.
Also you can tell Shale to "Toss the Dwarf" with him in your party in Honneleath.

and you go back to Orzammar you find out a Year has past between your banishment from Orzammar and your return. Which means a good amount of time passes between your banishment from Orzammar to Ostagar.

Part of the time the dwarf was imprisoned, and after that it was decided he would be sent to the Deep Roads to fight darkspawn until he perished. He survives long enough to find Duncan and is recruited and sent to Ostagar for the joining. Then he travelled the Korcari wilds and fought the Battle of Ostagar. He goes to Lothering next and after that the game can be played according to player choice. So I can see it being a year or so that passes before the exiled dwarf returns to Orzammer.
He learns some things about the Wardens from Duncan and some from Alistair, but really there is no occasion for him to learn much more. Duncan is dead. And the other Wardens are not in the same locations. So there is very little opportunity to learn much more until he meets Riordin.
Storywise, it makes good sense to withhold the information that Riordin provides until late in the game. It adds an element of 'last minute surprise' that fit in quite well with Morrigan's dark ritual.

I agree, Alistair is lacking in his knowledge about the Wardens. Particularly his White Knight Good Guys perspective.
Because this he makes a bad teacher for it.
Duncan and Riordan however are great Wardens, (Even Loghain if spared represents a true Warden)
You really need to read "The Calling" novel to get a good feel and understanding of them.
Alot of people misinterpret this code, or rather more likly dont consider what this means as a whole. Wardens are called upon to stop the blight by any means nessary. They are not good guys, altuistic and benevolent. They do what must or has to be done, not whats right or wroung. In peace they are militant and watchful, in War they will win by any means at any cost. In death, Sacrifice, This dosnt not just apply to the Wardens themselves as self-sacrifice this can apply to anything or anyone. If they must abandon a village to stop the blight its what they will do. Also many consider the Wardens a death sentance as few survive the joining and those that do are killed in battle usualy shortly after, and to someone who knows Grey Warden secrets the clock starts ticking down the moment you accept the taint until your corrupted by it. Hence the reason for their Sacred Rite "The Calling".The Grey Wardens live and die by a code: In Peace, Vigilance. In War, Victory. In Death, Sacrifice.
