We already have a lot of girls, even a few aliens, who looks good in a classic human supermodel way. Can't we at least have one who looks good in a very alien way? I mean the fangirls already have Garrus and Thane while we fanboys have to settle for all these boring humans. How unfair.

Tali should never look like a supermodel... if bioware has a clue then they'll base her appearance in large part off her character. Which is a shy, sensitive, intelligent, selfless, and cute person... that's what her mannerisms and actions scream and so forth. A supermodel is someone like Miranda, who in fact tends to scare me for well... looking too good.

Now, designing an alien that's shy, sensitive, and cute... well what animals do we usually think of when using those words. What features do they have in common? Then run from there.

I'm pretty sure you don't end up with someone that looks like Garrus with a tough hide and mandibles.

I think they did a good job with making Garrus and Thane atractive in a alien way. But this is of course mostly a case of personal taste.

You want them to base the looks of an entire species off of one character's personality... That's exactly what I wouldn't want....

That's the appearance for Tali... there's already pretty great evidence for significant sexual dimorphism in quarians, and could likely mean great difference in individual facial appearances, but guess what we probably won't see their faces.

Physical appearance rarely accuratly resembles one's personality... And assuming they're going to milk more out of this IP with futures games, I'd rather not have every Quarian looking like a teddy bear.



Besides, most of your descirption of "Her personality" is based on how you perceive her, there's differing opinions on that.

I thought Garrus and Thane were hideous. I mean they had nice personalities, but yuck.

I think it would be a good idea to make her appearance based upon your actions in the past games, the nicer you were, the better looking she is, if you were evil and treated her bad, she's a mini-Cthulhu.

Cat--People remind me to much of anime.  I really don't think it would work.  It's hard for me to picture cat people, having a place in Mass Effect.

On topic though, I'd say more alien than Asari, but slightly less alien than Turians. Having one other major galatic race with a facial structure that is basically identical to humanity is already kind of an odd coincidence. Two would just be weird.

If Tali actually did have some sort of Tentacles on her face, i think the people that originally fantasized about her, would vomit or something.

Im starting to think that maybe Bioware should give Tali some "monsterous" traits just for the sake of seeing the fans reactions

I think Tali should be cute and or adorably attractive, with unique skin patterns and colors, purples, teals and blues just stick out in my mind.  

maybe have Tali get injuried about halfway to 3 quarters through the game and have her NEED to get Gene theropy so her immune system is stronger, that way she won't need a suit.  

the reactions to other species who've never seen a quarians face would be funny XD

I have no idea what that means,but I absolutely want predator Tali. And then that look on Talimancer's face - priceless.
