It does sound like a hard but interesting challenge for the artists right? I hope I get to see something I didn't expect if they must reveal her face.

I actually think it's the build up that gets you. You run around a building killing mercs who tell you what character your looking for is protecting some children or something. By the time you meet them you fall in love with how they're making small differences throughout the messed up galaxy.

You know you can see a silhouette of her face and she looks pretty human.
Also, the cybernetic appearance idea is stupid, they created the Geth and wear protective suits, how does that make them cyborgs?

I imagine the same. They should look strange, but attractive because Shepard DID smile after all, and I imagine some of them as being black, some red, some purple, some white, some grey; maybe a mix, sort of like the asari with their facial tatooes; I chose to see some of their suit colors as being the closest they can get to an expression of their skin color.

Pointy ears might be right because no other species in ME has them, she might have hair because only humans got hair and a human looking nose because we can see it through her visor.

Attractive to Shepards eye, not humans in general. Remember that Shepard can also find Garrus and Thane attractive.

Clearly her face has human qualities. I'd still go with the elf look I posted earlier but maybe add some face markings and make it more aztec looking.

For some reason, I'd really like to see the immense backlash a less-than-perfect Tali-face would receive. But alas, I have no doubt that BioWare will go with an extremely attractive face - whether alien or human.

I agree.  I really don't think they are going to make Tali extremely alien, nor do i think they would do it vice versa.  Im sure they would make it a happy medium.

And i am interested in how tali fans would react to a not so hot tali

I'm an unashamed Talimancer, and personally I'm hoping for her to be reasonably alien, more at the drell end of the scale than asari. I've always pictured her as being grey skinned personally, don't know why.

I really hope BE have the guts to do what I'd love to see, and that's for her to be fairly plain in the looks department, except for two things. One, her eyes being as stunning as in 'that' legendary fan art, since her eyes have been the sole focus for our gaze in dialogues. And two, to complete the whole 'adorkable' thing she has going, a two million credit smile.

Tali should look how the developers and their art department say she should look like. I don't think they should listen to anyone but themselves in this department.

She should look like a night elf from world of warcraft. Minus the ears, which wouldn't fit in the helmet of course. But it would explain her eyes shining through the helmet in ME1, and probably would be a hit with all the people who voted for Femshep 5.

I'm a fan-boy of the entire Quarian race, and I feel that they could easily blend the too. I'm kind of expecting their jaws to be a little like a Turian's but, smoother ^^;; I don't know. I think that they should be what they are, and be shown for what they've evolved to be, not what we desire from them. I just hope they don't portray the Quarians with a, "Kill All The Geth Persona".

I personally hope the quarians will get a very simple and clean design, as if the suit is a shell and we see the soft inside. Adding things like ridges, horns, tentacles, gills, etc. wouldn't make them stand out from all the turians, krogans, drell, asari, etc. and since most of the races we have at the moment represents amphibians, birds, reptiles, insects and even jellyfish a more mammal approach would be best for the quarians. I would actually be for a simian design as they are formidable technicians and mechanics and would most likely have evolved from a species adapt at utilizing tools and inventions (just like chimpanzees). They must of course look a lot different from us humans who are also primates. Looking at the helmets, something creative could be done with the shape of the heads, seeing as the male quarian helmets give the illusion of a horselike head.

I think Quarians should be pitch black. It would sort of mask their features to leave some measure of it up to imagination. Also, it would look really cool.

she should look as alien as they can make her seem. They already have human bodies. What little we can see of their faces is already human and the placeholder face is, for all intents and purposes, human. I really hope they work with the restrictions they put on themselves to make the quarians seem as alien as possible.

The asari and drell are stretching it...the asari are blue humans and the drell look like a human with really good reptilian make-up...I don't want that for the quarians...

you can still make a species attractive without them being color swapped humans...

I hope her eyes look really weird yet mystical, enrapturing even. I kind of want her eyes to be the where most of her attractiveness comes from. I want her face to seem alien, even a little unattractive...remember people, SHE'S ALIEN. I hope they don't have hair at all, but if they do, I'd prefer if they had hair all over their bodies and not just head hair. It'd be ridiculous if they were literally just purple humans...with 3 digits (I use purple as a popular example, although I don't think they are purple...but I wouldn't mind if they were)
