Hurlocks have brown eyes now. Is this a bug?

I don't know if this is a bug or a feature, but I was pretty surprised when I startet a new game and realised that the Hurlocks suddenly had
brown eyes. Oo

I have no idea when this got changed, but I created a new game just after Legacy came out and noticed this as well.
