i was wondering what other people did with their romances from ME1, i romanced someone else in ME2 every time.

did you; remain loyal to your ME1 LI and why
               romance someone else in ME2 and why

and what will you do with your romance in ME3 if you chose someone else in ME2, will you remain loyal to your new LI or go back to your original LI??

Nope totally loyal. I have Shep/Kaidan/Ash/Jack files and I intend to be faithful.

I'm not sure about the cheating options lol since I don't plan to cheat and find out

I cheated on ME1 Liara with ME2 Liara.

Jane loved Liara from the start and I can't take that away from her.

John Shepard romanced Tali in ME2 and will probably remain loyal.

I romanced Ashley because despite their differences in opinion, the two seemed to get along just fine. After Horizon I felt like Ashley had moved on. I love Jack and her romance was beautiful. I'm not sure what Issac will do in ME3. I'll probably stay with Jack, I don't think I could leave her.

Ahem, I've done just about all combinations. Cheated with one Shepard, stayed loyal with another, and established a relationship in ME2 with a third Shepard.

My first Shep cheated on Liara w/ Miranda. My "canon" playthrough consists of Shepard staying single in ME1 and being with Jack for ME2 and onwards.

From the moment I met Tali I wanted her to be an LI. Partially the voice, partially the mysterious allure of the suit. However, when it became clear she wasn't an option, my Shepard went for Liara. I think the change in ME2 works well though for my character. He held off in ME1 because Tali is younger and he didn't think the feeling was mutual. When he finds out in ME2 that it is a Liara has become obsessed, it makes sense that he would pursue Tali. He'll stick with her in ME3, but the question will be if she will since my Shep won't all out support the quarian war with the geth.

Shep romanced Liara in ME1 and stayed faithful , he did a lot of flirting with Miranda but in the end he backed off , LOTSB proved Liara was worth waiting for.

I remained loyal to my ME1 romance because I felt it made sense for my Shepard, although I have dabbled in the forbidden art of romancing some ME2 characters.

All Characters: Romanced Liara in ME1, stayed faithful during ME2 and will be doing the same during ME3.

Canon femShep-Stayed faithful to Liara.  Reason is this Shepard connects in a way she has never connected with anyone else.

femShep #2-Was with Kaidan in ME1, but got annoyed with him after Horizon.  She went after Jacob instead. 

femShep#3(tool)-She was with Liara, wanted to blow off steam with Garrus' reach and her flexablity.  She also flirted with Thane, got together with Liara, broke it off with Garrus and now she still being a tool and pondering getting with Thane. 

maleShep #1-Romanced Ash.  He didn't like being called a traitor, and got with Jack.

maleShep #2-No ME1 romance.  He had a thing for Tali and wasn't sure how she felt about him.  Once she made her feeling felt, it was Tali all the way.

maleShep #3-Stayed faithful to Liara and plans to until the end.

Be loyal to whom? I did not engage in sexual intercourse with Kaidan, Ashley, or Liara in the first installment of the Mass Effect series. However, I guess you could say I was not loyal to the consort. I value Tali over all other squad members.

I have lots of sheps, but most romanced Kaidan then moved onto Garrus. I have one play through where I didn't romance Kaidan and did the Garrusmance.

I have three runs that I'm going to carry over to 3:

In all 3, I romanced Kaidan in 1.

1) Shep stayed true to Kaidan and didn't romance anyone else, hoping to reconcile with him once her mission with Cerberus was over.
2) Shep decided to get over Kaidan since Garrus is so much better and is truly her best friend.
3) Shep had the intent to romance over, feeling that after the way she got burned with Kaidan that it was best to be alone; but she was unexpectedly won over by Thane.

The one game where my Shep did romance Ash I went to Miranda after she dumped Shep.

Ash is definitely my canon LI. No other character can compare

But I have other playthroughs.
