First playthrough I romanced Ashley and then went with Jack in ME2.

Second playthrough I romanced Liara as a femShep and stayed with Liara.

Third playthrough I romanced Ashley and stayed with Ashley.


The romance with Jack frankly... came out of nowhere in my first playthrough. Basically, I enjoy talking to my squadmates too much.

As weak and slightly evil as it sounds i only slept with Liara because i didnt wanna make her upset - hey! we were both about to die anyway right?

I went with Tali in 2 (like everyone did...i know) awesome thing to me was i had no clue she was romancible so it was a nice little surprise for me, im gonna cut my self off from ME2 info too so i get that surprise on who i can get with in 3.

Also, did the honorable thing in LOTSB and told Liara whats what.....

I have three Sheps I'll be taking to ME3 (I think), two loyal to Kaidan from ME1 and one who's duty focused and didn't want to mess with the chain of command.

She's going to romance Kaidan in ME3 after waiting patiently ;-) If that's not doable she'll work out all that pent up energy slaughtering bad guys again.

Well for my canon Shep,I decided to let Ashley die on Virmire so I don't have to choose between her and Miranda in ME3. If it wasn't for Horizon,I would have probably killed off Miranda.

All my Sheps, except for one, romanced just one person. So the Sheps who have ME2 romances stayed away from the ME1 peeps, and vice versa.

My Renegade FemShep soldier dumped Kaidan for Jacob though. Kaidan's too much of a wet blanket.

I purposefully cheated on Ash/Kaidan/Liara with Miranda/Jack/Kelly/Garrus/Jacob(will do with ME3 comic) just to see all of the different types of cofrontations that can come about in ME3. One I'm really looking forward to is Kaidan vs. Jacob vs. James Vega.

 I cheated every single time. No matter who i romanced in the first game i ended with someone else in the second. Interestng to see where that goes in ME3.

To be honest, in my first PT I went with Liara coz she was pretty much throwing herself at me, and Kaidan didn't really do it for me (and I killed him on Virmire). Then I heard that Garrus was a romance option in ME2 so...yeah, sorry Liara..
I'm kind of looking forward to this potentially awkward love triangle in ME3...
Second PT, I flirted with Kaidan but rejected him at the 'almost kiss' scene, so I didn't have anyone...Then  I was going to romance Jacob in ME2 but ended up going for Garrus again >.>

Damien Shepard:
Was with Ash is the first installment, then Horizon happened. After that, he fell completely for Tali's bubbly enthusiasm and youth (and sometimes you just want to enjoy being the knight in shining armour), and unless she pulls a Horizon on him, will beg staying faithful to his favourite alien.

Vivian Shepard:
Was with Liara in the first chapter, and stayed true during the second, but when I finally play LotSB on her, will be breaking it off. Liara has taken way, way too many crazy pills, handed her over to my enemies rather than move on with her life, and the dog tags should have been sent back to mother.

Despite the fact that I believe I have answered this question in, perhaps, *8* other threads, what the hell, I'll throw in my Two Credits once more. I have one Canon Shepard (I've never been one to have multiple characters/timelines in my RPGs; the one exception being KOTOR. *Had* to have a Dark Side Revan who starts out Light but goes all Anakin Skywalker) the aforementioned main character being Male, Spacer, War Hero, Solider. My sole M!Shepard never romanced anyone in ME1, treating Ashley *just* stern enough to put her off a romance, but keeping her at Virmire. Liara, though a valued Squadmate, was told, "I'm not interested." These things were done for one reason: Yes, Tali.

Once I learned she was a LI in ME2, it was simple enough to set things up in ME1 to pave the way. From an RP perspective, John had a soft spot for Tali from day one; but, because of her age and relative naiveté, forced himself to look upon and care for her as a younger sister. However, once he encountered her again after two years of being..."away," and seeing how much she'd matured and who she had become, Johnny was dumbstuck. Smitten like a love-sick puppy; but, you know, in a very Manly, Heroic kind of way. So, yes, long story short, No ME1 Romance. No Cheating. Perfect Guilt Free Love Story (Aside from the whole, you know, risking her health thing) Here's to hoping it all pays off with one more Epic Love Scene, Tali's Face, and a certain Shepard made home on a certain Quarian Homeworld.

Talimancer/Womanizer non-canon Sheploo: Romanced Ash, casual sexed Jack and romanced Tali.

Of course that's within the game, within my mind my femsheps romanced Zaeed in ME2.

I've got playthroughs with all romance options (male shepard only) and all loyal to the said romance.. So I'll get to see how each one will plays out >.> just got to make a few more playthroughs for cheating romances and finish up my samara one (hoping she'd go farther with my shepard.. that rejection really stuck with me  )

I did a few other rounds with April romancing Garrus & Thane, just to see how the affiars are written but did not carry through at the critical point (Thane's was down to earth and I was tempted to let the affair stay but no). I'm having a wall regarding Jacob though, because of Shep's loony (well to me) behaviour / dialogue when she talks to him. That's not exactly how I visualise an officer of her caliber to behave so I abandon it. Given a choice, I'd have her going to the armory for a legitimate / solid reason; checking out the weapons (after 2 years of being asleep, she has to bring herself up to speed on current issues, etc from his POV. He is afterall, a former Alliance officer so there is that level of trust she should have in him. More than anyone else onboard anyway besides Joker and Dr Chakwas) and gradually falling into a more familiar conversation with him. 

But I'm reconsidering having a round with Kaidley cheating on Kaiden with Jacob (I'll just have to bite down when I cringe ), just for his crappy behaviour on Horizon.   And to see what would happen in ME3.

My FemShep romanced Kaidan, vaporized him, and then romanced Jacob. Ugh, I know, right? And I am not staying faithful to Jacob in ME3 because that's the way my FemShep works.

I always plan ahead of time who I'm going to romance and stay faithful. I have files with Kaidan/Liara/Thane/Tali/Jack romanced, all faithful.

My current canon Shepard, Deirdre, romanced Kaidan in ME1 and hooked up with Garrus in ME2. Kaidan was already beginning to move on, he was very distrusting of Shepard as apposed to Garrus... I figured it was time to let go.

Everytime, except once, have I cheated on my ME1 LI. Funny enough that one time I didn't cheat was the Shep with Liara.

My Shepard didn't cheat on Kaidan with Garrus, he made it very clear he was no longer interested in keeping the relationship alive because of who she was working for.

Did he later on regret saying those things to her and wanted to, "work things out?"
How the hell should my Shepard know.. she is saving a galaxy.
