I just remembered that Casey said few days ago that ME3 is in final production.


If that is true, why didn't Bioware announced multiplayer at Comic Con?

I feel like this, I don't give a damn if there's MP or not. However I do expect the wrap up of Shepard's story to be quality. It doesn't have to be the most profound thing I've ever experienced, but I do expect it to be a satisfying and solid experience.

If they can handle MP and still deliver, then great. Yay for them.

But regardless of MP, if the the last game of Shepard's story suxs. We have a problem. Yeah, I know they're a corporation and it's just biz. But as much as they're a biz, I'm a fickle consumer. It comes down to one thing, if I can't trust the Brand to deliver a solid experience, then I won't spend my money on it. I'll be more likely to give something else a try.

So they're alot of ways they can screw up ME3 besides MP, or maybe including it. Idk. I don't care. Either they handle it, or they don't. If they don't, then no hard feelings, I'm just gonna see what else is going on game wise.

Hey, and it's just business for me,too. I can't buy every game I want.

Well...I'm indifferent.

A couple of sources are already counting this as fact.

 As long as I'm not obligated to play with anyone other than close friends i'm okay with it, but that won't happen anyways, as my friend has turned into an unbelivable douchebag and won't turn off his "Hawo Weach" nor give the Mass Effect series a shot. I say Hawo Weach because he has diabeties and I think it's funny to pretend he has a lisp.

All signs point to yes, developed by BioWare Montreal, most likely some form of a co-op, could be DLC.

I dont want to say that bioware COMPLETELY sold out just yet, but... Multiplayer? Give me a break, what hurts even worse is that they down right stated that they want "call of duties audience" IMO mass effect 2 was the best game (or at least in to top five) best games i have ever played, and now im getting some casual dumbed down experience? the E3 trailer worried me as well that generic rock music just does not fit... they might as well have taken the "America **** YEA!!!" music and replaced America with MASS EFFECT **** YEAH! I mean imagine an uncharted 3 trailer with some lil wayne heavy hardcore rap song as the theme...

PS worst part is that according to the developers its in its last stages of development, and a lot of evidence points towards there BEING multiplayer... im scared... one of favorite franchises maybe EVER is about to be handed over on a silver platter to the 10 and 13 year old call of duty frag heads.  SCREW YOU EA its a miracle you managed to keep your dirty, greedy, paws off of mass effect 2. *sigh* guess i gotta find a new favorite franchise....

ME2 was already a casual, dumbed down experience. There was almost no character build differentiation within class frameworks as a result of overly broad power distribution and minimal progression in ranks, there was no element of choosing one upgrade over another in order to enhance specific strengths with balancing weaknesses because you could just take any and all upgrades and have them active permanently, armor customization was a joke--just take whatever you think looks cool, because the mods were completely trivial, etc. etc.

If they don't say anything about multiplayer there, this topic for ME3 should die for good.

Bioware are welcome at any time to come on out and kill it for good by unambiguously stating that multiplayer modes are not and will not be developed for ME3. No need to wait for a gaming convention. Casey could do it in a single tweet.

So why don't they?

It's a simple yes or no question, but they always dodge it and go back to talking about how great the single player will be, and not to worry.

Do people understand that BioWare has more than one studio to work on games?  Cuz I don't get the whole not enough people working on single player bs.  And it isn't like BioWare is working on a sh*t ton of games right now.
