I knew it! Just rumors.

Just bought the mag and there is one tiny paragraph that says: "Well, if you believe the rumours - which we certainly do - ME3 will have MP. According to various sources, there will be a batch of 3 player co-op missions that run parallel to the main story, with each player assuming the role of a single squad mate. It seems likely that this will happen, and it'll form part of EA's Online Pass system. However devs have been known to ditch MP during development in the past, if it doesn't work..."
So they just quoted the usual rumours and put the word 'multiplayer' on the cover.

Gonna get on with the rest of my shopping.

I think it's time to admit we may have a bit of a problem when it comes to getting riled up over nothing.

So regardless of what you all want, do you think there will or won't be MP in ME3? Vote here.
I think there will be, just too many signs pointing that way though I wouldn't bet the farm on it. I'm not rooting for or against it either.

1) Bioware posted a job opening for MP dev over a year ago;
2) Bioware decline to flatly state that MP won't be coming to Mass Effect 3;
3) Intuition gained from about 20 years as a gamer, reading, interpreting, and observing the results of dev-speak.
That's my case in three brief sentences.
That wasn't free, it was included. It was part of the package and as a result you paid more for that package than any of the other versions where DLC wasn't included.Mesina2 wrote...

It's not DLC. It's a feature included with the game that people who don't have the game brand-new have to pay for. Big difference.
Firewalker pack and normandy crash site were free. There were some other free dlcs i just can't remember them.
Also every ME2 DLC on PS3 but AAP2 and Arrival are free.

Yes, of course. I never said my position was ironclad, and I'll be the first to admit I could be wrong.Sir Ulrich Von Lichenstien wrote...

In other words, it's just a hunch... sometimes a hunch pays off, sometimes it doesn't...
The thing that we need though is... just the facts ma'am
That's it, am calling Dragnet on this case... we need Detective Friday to work this out.
