C'mon BW, don't ruin the last entry of the series by implementing a hippster feature the majority doesn't want.

Okey, sorry. Here is few others in from other gaming sites..GreenSoda wrote...
No...that poll here on the social site only reflects what the "fans" of ME want (or do not want). I was thinking of that poll from back of the beginning of the year where a popular gaming website asked its readers if they want MP in ME3.
It was something like 70-80% who said "no thanks".

"No comment" certainly wasn't the answer I was looking for...because often this just means: "We are not ready to announce it yet".
While I'd like to believe it, this is exactly what you guys said in regards to the Kinect rumors--that you "don't comment on rumors". A few days later it was confirmed at E3. Figures...Chris Priestly wrote...
We're not commenting, because we don't comment on rumors.
Not to mention if I deny it, no one believes me anyways. So I'm just letting this run until the magazine comes out and you see what they actually say.

Yes, but it's still assumption that it's connected to ME3. ME3 development was started before they even started looking developers with MP abilities.

In any event, I'm holding my breath.

I'm not sure of anything anymore, Didy. I guess we should always assume/expect the worst anyway. What's really driving me nuts is the fact that they're refusing to flatly deny these MP rumors. Saying "We've considered it," or "We're focusing on the SP" is a non-answer and leaves you with more question than answers, yet it's all we've ever heard about this.didymos1120 wrote...

OK, but what about other rumors they didn't comment on that turned out to NOT be true? Are you sure you aren't falling prey to confirmation bias?

Chris, the magazine is already out a few hours ago and it has...
NOTHING
Just an article talking about the rumours of MP in Mass Effect 3
I'll wait for more people to verify this. Not the first time I have fallen for a headline:
Headline - "Is hot Actrees naked inside?"
Article - "No, but we wish she was".
Etc.

Isn't that hole point of bad magazines. To get people buy they product, no matter what. If they don't have any real news to report, they start to invent them based rumors. I ques people slowly learn to know what magazines reports real news and what invent they own news.Windninja47 wrote...
So basically- "We heard that there may be multiplayer but there might not be." Thanks Xbox 360 World, you just stole 5 pounds off of me. I shall never buy your magazine ever again.

What he possibly means is some poll that was done on here where the majority of people who took part in that poll stated they don't want it. What he fails to understand is that poll majority =/= actual majority of ME fans.
Both Mass Effects sold millions of copies. How on Earth would you or I know what the majority wants? Even if there are a thousand people on this forum thats less than 0.05% of the people that bought ME2. The majority may be perfectly fine with multiplayer.GreenSoda wrote...

100,000 is less than 5% of the people who bought ME2 (based on the 2 millions copies sold in week 1, so in reality ME2 probably sold a lot more). That is nowhere near a majority.Gibb_Shepard wrote...

What about Ign? Does that cover actual ME fans? You know, with the poll that exceeded 100,000 votes, 75% of that against multiplayer?
If you don't call that the ajority, i don't know what is.

How can tv stations accurately predict the outcome of the presidential election based on only a couple of 1000's (sometimes even just hundreds) votes ? The sample-size that IGN-poll probed is *more* than large enough to accurately predict what the majority wants.Candidate 88766 wrote...
