Edit: And I have been here since the beginning, I just never officially joined until recently, like I said, I'm not a troll out to attack everyone here, I just can't stand when people literally attack each other over a rumor. Just the internet, I guess.

Honestly I would be okay if they had a type of horde mode Multiplayer. Would that be so bad?
If the DLC is just more MP map levels to buy vs story content, yes

So you assume that Bioware will stop making DLC story content because it takes to much time to make MP maps? Its likely they will have different teams for this.

What story content DLC? I hope that the story will be done in ME 3 and they don't release story DLCs after it.
Why no story content DLC?
You can always add great USC/N7missions that have little to no impact on the greater story, but nontheless be a great mission to play and experience.

You know what's gonna happen? Multiplayer downloadable as a day 1 DLC.
Yeah, we already heard that rumor too.

“Well, if you believe the rumours – which we certainly do – Mass Effect 3 will have multiplayer. According to various sources, there will be a batch of 3 player co-op missions that run parallel to the main story, with each player assuming the role of a single squad mate. It seems likely that this will happen, and it’ll form part of EA’s Online Pass system. However developers have been known to ditch multiplayer during development in the past, if it doesn’t work…”
So, basically, it was nothing not reported before already but instead of calling it co-op, it was labeled as multiplayer.

True, but in that case they could just as well be MP missions, co-op for example. Playing alongside a few friends in a side mission (as marines or whatever) during the invasion of Earth could be cool.

2: Bioware listens, if you had been around durning Xmas time before ME2 was released then you'd know. No criticism = no improvement.
What happend durning xmas 'round these parts?
that said, Bioware removed NG+ from ME2. it was made clear around the summer of that year. Such reveal made people unhappy, enough that one of the devs (Preston I think......and Christina Norman) created a thread about why we liked NG+. The thread reached page 100+...around Xmas that year it was announced the feature (NG+) was re-implemented in the game

If they have (or make) a good CoOp, I wouldn't mind getting some neat CoOp missions like in SplinterCell Conviction (the CoOp is about the only really good thing about the game, ... shame that).

There is such thing as downloadable multiplayer?
There is in Bioware's view of the world, because you know, day 1 DLC makes complete sense. And this whole "we won't comment on rumors thing" priestly and the rest keep blabbering on about only further supports the possibility of multiplayer in ME3. Either say it's not in it or it is.

I've never heard of downloadable multiplayer. EVER. But MP in ME3 wouldn't be that bad, imo.

To address all who addressed me: My join date is irrelevant. What matters is intelligence. Two, voicing opinions is good, complaining about it isn't. Also, I'm not trying to "school" anyone. I just find it ridiclous that people are trying to threaten Bioware. Did not mean to come across as angsty.
Edit: And I have been here since the beginning, I just never officially joined until recently, like I said, I'm not a troll out to attack everyone here, I just can't stand when people literally attack each other over a rumor. Just the internet, I guess.
For starters, everyone says that if they are confronted with their apprently very recent join date..and I do mean pretty much everyone.
Secondly, if you had been around THAT long you would know my point #1....that's how the BSN works. It's the price to pay for having such a tight, passionate and attached fanbase.
Lastly, it is not a threat, it is a simple cause-effect situation. If the game is not to someone's likings then they will not purchase it. The lack of a single feature prevented me from buying DA2 for without that feature I would not have re-played the game more than once.

Like I said, I'm not rooting out the possibility, because EA will sink to any level of depravity to squeeze out a couple more bucks, they're so desperate to make themselves the A**-holes of gaming companies and Bioware is one of their biggest money grabbers, I wouldn't be surprised if they did this as "co-op" dlc parts of the game on day one or as their first piece of dlc. And in my opinion, any form of multiplayer in ME would be a stupid, terrible, dumb decision because the game already feels like a watered down version of Gears of War already.

he believes that adding MP would be further distancing oneself from the RPG core of Mass Effect and moving further toward the shooter side
which is what RPG fans are dreading

Multiplayer probably won't do that.

Why do you suppose that is? Hmm.
Because we do not comment on rumors? Because we do not ever want to close ourselves off for a possibility for sometime (days, weeks, years, etc) in the future? Because no one believes us no matter what we say? Because you think impure thoughts about Martha Stewart? Because we don't want to?
I give up? Why?
So what's wrong with "we do not have plans to put this in the game at this time." Says it's not there at the moment, but still leaves the possiblity that it could be there in the future if people changed their minds.
