As far as Volus' art work with ride the lightning, try someone that is unanimously considered villainous, Crysalis as an example. Otherwise, it is likely to come off as distasteful.

Know what's weird? Ponies Make War/The Immortal Game ended months ago, but I'm still sitting on the last few chapters and I don't know why I haven't read them. Is it that I'm afraid the ending will disappoint me? The author wrote a blog once where he claimed that ME3's ending was so bad that it seriously bummed him out and he couldn't write for a few days, so maybe I'm afraid that AestheticBrony doesn't know a good ending when he sees it.
