ME3's ending was so bad I couldn't play video games for a few days afterward, so I wouldn't be surprised if he couldn't keep writing.

Okay, I'm joking. Do you know which video game had a really good ending imo? StarCraft: Brood War. Kerrigan didn't use any space magic or resort to ultimate sacrifice to defeat the three fleets that came to kill her, she had nothing going for her but her broods her skills and her wits, and she still beat them. It just seems a bit lazy when I writer can't think of any way for hero to win against overwhelming odds that doesn't involve either deus ex machina or suicide becoming a necessity for utterly bizzare reasons.

Well you see, after the Zebras defeated Equestria in the war, Princess Celestia was forced to sign the Striped Pony Accord, banning the worship of stars from Equestria.  A group of Crystal Ponies, calling themselves the Quartzcloaks, 
declared themselves to be the government of the Crystal Empire which would now be an independent state.  In their minds, any princess who would surrender to the Zebras and give up star worship is too weak to rule.  Can Princess Cadence and Shining Armor restore order to this unruly principality? Whooo knooooows?

FiW references aside and moving back to a previous point of discussion, what's the body count in Ponies Make War? Actually, let me rephrase that: what's the bodycount amongst characters that are actually from the show and people would have cause to vaguely care about?
