So I've been thinking. My current timeline of Equestria only has the Low Middle Age, named "The Dark Age" (a pun on the fact that this is when Nightmare Moon and all that happens), and the High Middle Age, named "The Sun Age".

However, historically the Middle Ages were actually split into three eras (Early, High, Late). For reference, the Early Middle Ages ran from the end of Late Antiquity (in other words, the fall of the Western Roman Empire) to 1066, the High ran from 1066 to the 1300's and is basically the bright spot between the Vikings and the Plague (this is when castles and knights and all that good stuff show up), and the Late goes from there to the fall of Constantinople.

So I'm kind of thinking I need to throw in another crisis after Nightmare Moon but before the golden age of modern Equestria really gets going. Maybe a bunch of Nightmare Moon cultists starting up the -Old- Lunar Republic and plunging Equestria into civil war.

For those who missed it, here's some footage of the Fighting is Magic Stream. This one has a better size of the gameplay itself. Art looks very sharp - love the character background at Pony Selection. It's not exactly the most deep gameplay, but it certainly looks and sounds like one hell of an MLP-related Video Game.
