lolwut?  Why would someone spend that much on a laptop, even with dedicated graphics?  To play Crysis 3 on a plane?

I wouldn't go back to desktops without at least a tablet. Suppose someone released a notebook. $1700. 1080p IPS screen. any Ivy Bridge CPU. A 650M GPU. Weighing about 2Kg and around 2.5cm thick.

I'd be all over it. With a SSD, I could actually play Crysis on a plane, even if "real gamerz" would tell me a 680MX is the only way to go. Don't worry. I won't miss 8x anti-aliasing

Well, I'm afraid I don't know much about high end laptops, mine can't even play StarCraft II on High. My Desktop can handle all my gaming needs though, if my laptop ever breaks down, I'll probably just replace it with a $200 Chrome book or something.
