It's just that I believe changing those little things would work out best than making the episode significantly different, which would be kinda saying "this idea sucks, gimme something else".
As in, I think less people would find it just "okay" instead of "great" if all that already *was* in the episode was perfectly polished.
In the end, nitpicking is something I simply can't avoid. I've been doing it since I was 10. I find that recently I've been finding more and more imperfections (and more corrections, which is the good part), but thankfully I am more tolerant of them than I was two years ago.
And thinking about perfecting or streamlining stuff is very important as I may work with GUI design someday... I figured I'm not nearly math-addicted nerdy enough to eventually come up easily with crazy-efficient algorithms as, say, a Google engineer would. There are plenty of excellent coders out there. But very few with any sense of what a good interface should look like.
