 So, what do you guys think of the upcoming Trixie episode?

Title: Magic Duell
Air Date: December 3, 2012
Synopsis: When Trixie returns to Ponyville, she defeats Twilight and banishes her from town.




Personally, I'm hoping that after Twilight is banished, this episode consists of lots of scenes with Trixie awkwardly trying to interact with Twilight's friends who are all too terrified of her to voice disapproval. XD

always used Inkscape, but as a total noob at this I was completely
overwhelmed by the interface. It turned out to have some annoying
coloring bugs too, so after a little search I found Serif DrawPlus. The
Starter Edition is free, and it's easier to use than Inkscape. It does
have less features, but my basic checklist was:

1) Draw and manipulate vectors
2) Simple interface, no-headaches-tools
3) Free

So
there you have it. I think sis also has Draw Plus and prefers it to
Inkscape when she doesn't want to use something that's missing.

I'll have to try that one, I've been looking for an alternative to the discontinued Freehand and I didn't quite like Inkscape wich seems counterintuitive for some reason.

Hmm, if those images and the Trixie ep aren't related, makes me wonder just what's in store for the Mane 6 to have to board up their homes and abandon them. I mean, cobwebs and dead trees don't really appear like that in one night, unless the Trixie episode has a timeskip.

To be fair, it probably took time for Ponyville to erect all those Trixie statues as well.  On the other hand, even if Twilight was banished, Celestia wouldn't put up with Trixie's shenanigans for that long, would she?

I've been meaning to do this, so here it is.

With this canon-friendly (but sadly not as humorous) explanation, it shows the reason Celestia could not do anything about Nightmare Moon/Luna, also knowing that she could only wield half the Elements when she banished her. The full power of the Elements stripped away Luna's powers, reducing her to a calmer state, and she later regained them (this leaves room for humorous answers.), but with a better state, she looks different than both, but also reminiscent of both.

However, I now think that it would have been interesting if Nightmare Moon did not change appearances to become Luna, so a good guy has to look good, and a bad guy has to look scary?

And on why the killed Sombra (assuming they did):
1. Luna is a godly figure worth being redeamed.
2. Discord is a force of nature, not capable of being destroyed.
3. Chrysalis was not defeated by the Elements, an had a large army to divide the load of the magic on.
4. Sombra is just a low-vocabulary, unicorn-equivalent of a Sith, no one powerful or important to universal balance in any way.

They could be part of Scootaloo's supposed nightmares in her episode.
