What we REALLY need is MOAR EPISOADS.

Honestly, I'm probably going to wind up snoozing through this week's episode much like I did with A Friends In Deed. I was in a stream for that one, and honestly it didn't hold my attention at all and I couldn't tell you much of what happened in it. 

On the other hand, maybe we'll get an episode with what I call Good Pinkie instead of Bad Pinkie, like Baby Cakes. Or perhaps it won't be as centered on her as it appears at first blush, like MMMystery on the Friendship Express. 

The wait for episode 5-7 (Magic Duel, Sleepless in Ponyville, Wonderbolt Academy) is gonna kill me.

I probably should snooze through this week's episode. I never really enjoy these episodes the first time I see them as much as I do later. I think it's because I'm half asleep and miss half the stuff. For example, I re watched the season premiere today to find that I had completely missed the part when Pinkie Pie crawls out of a shockingly lifelike Fluttershy costume.

Oh yeah, the Crystal Heart made everypony's manes look super cool. I wonder what my hair would look like if I was exposed to it?

I think I'm almost done with the 2.0 version of the Equestria timeline.

Supposedly they mention something about six kingdoms in some old G3.5 film where they introduced the "Crystal Princess" and "Unicornia", which G3.5 Rarity was from. I may have to suck it up and get one of the old pegasisters in the Texas Brony Group to stream that so I can make more Six Kingdoms of Equesteros jokes.

"The Rainbow Celebration is almost near as everyone in Ponyville prepares and awaits the first rainbow of the season. Meanwhile at the magical city of Unicornia, Cheerilee is teaching a young unicorn pony named Rarity about being a Rainbow Princess and her duties to make the First Rainbow of the Season using the magic wand. Rarity is still young and she accidentally uses the wand, which in turn teleports her into the middle of Breezie Blossom. Oh god, Rarity is voiced by Spike (Cathy), Tabitha is voicing Minty, Andrea is voicing somepony I've never heard of, people I've never heard of are voicing Pinkie and Rainbow, and Kathleen Barr (Trixie/Chyrsalis) is doing some minor character.

This isn't actually a shot from the premier. You can tell by the stadium they've constructed adjacent to the palace castle thing. And it's labeled "312".

Seems like we're going back there in later episode, most likely Part 1 of the finale. Maybe Shining will finally get to save Twiley's plot.

Page 11, producer and service fee revenues, mentions that for Q42012 (which I believe would have ended just recently - for the US government, at least, FY2012 ended on September 30th) DHX Vancouver earned "$1.63 million for My Little Pony Season 2-4".

Interesting. I wonder if they are considering expanding the MLP brand further, for example creating a spin-off of the main series.

What would be your main issues with creating a spin-off series. For example 
if the main 6 where not involved as the main cast do you think they would
not be able to maintain the quality of the main show in the spin off?
