Not that I'm probably wrong on some of these points but Chrysalis got such crazy power from feeding off Shining's love for Cadence over a long period of time. And she only ever has been able to defeat evil before that we know of thanks to the aid of the Elements. And neither of those times were permanent solutions. AND she had help from Luna one of those times. (Or two? I can't remember if the princesses intervened in Sombra's past or not, I think they did)

They did, remember? it showed them flying together over the crystal empire and lasering him with their shadow transformation beam.  Now that I think of it, the small ponies are probably better off without some of the princess's intervention, turning him into shadow just made him more dangerous if anything.

@Gravis That still is only half of fluttershies adorability level in the latest episode. Her adorability rating was over 9000 (too old now? oh well you get the idea ) it had like an awe factor of 85% and a silly fluttershy factor of 14% and a bravery factor of 1% higher than her average.

The Best fluttershy part was when the animals carried her to twilight. and when everyone kept interrupting her xD
