If you want more proof, go back to around page 1000 and check the posting frequency. Next, go to around page 1040 (or whatever page has posts from November 10th*) and notice the post explosion.

Anyone else notice the kinda-sorta symbolical way Scootaloo lost her scooter FOREVER in the waterfall as a transition to finally having a big sister (and being closer to flying), especially with Dash helping her out at the end.

Honestly, I no longer care for the "Scootaloo can never fly" school of thought I supported. This was very well executed.

Bobo, why you use my favorite luna .gif? And by that I mean why don't I see it more often?

Great episode, but some of those scenes, this show is being watched by younger kids? That Luna strolling though the forest in the first dream; if she never showed up again throughout the whole episode, that would have been very creepy.Expansion of things that were very well established. added things. And Luna teaches ponies while they sleep? Where can I sign up for her classes? I need to study for exams.

And I hate to say it, but did Scootaloo make a noise that sounded like a chicken when she fell at one point?

I didn't think there was anything particularly "adult" about this episode, to be honest. Not like slave owner Sombra in the first episode.

But Sombra was an over-the-top Flanderized-At-Birth villain. Take the slavery away (after all, did you know even the G1 My Little Pony special had slave ponies too?), and this episode does come up as a bit more mature, which isn't necessarily "adult".

Though that speaks volumes about how well this episode was executed as about how Sombra suffered from major characterization issues. I still maintain that he was better than Nightmare Moon.

I just realized I heard of bronies when the brony fandom started, not on 4chan of course, on Bungie.net.

I didn't have any clue I would join them 2 years later. It started with the memes, which I thought a few were funny, but most I didn't understand, so I went to the wiki for research (now though, I generally don't follow info from them anymore). Next thing I know I was storing all the episodes on my computer for safe keeping, and posting here.Still don't get shipping though:huh: .

My last post seems to have been lost forever in the internets, so I'll keep it simple this time:

Slavery isn't THAT surprising or oh-mai-gawd due to the simple way it  was portrayed. Did you know that the G1 Special also had slaves? Would you consider that as catering to a more adult audience? No?

Shipping is a trans-IP phenomenon. It follows basically the same rules no matter the fandom. You *can* understand its process when exposed to enough of it, even if you don't practice it (and/or feels it's mostly overtly weird).
