That ending was malarkey. Spitfire and the Wonderbolts are all a bunch of parasprites. They just picked Rainbow Dash instead of Lightning Dust because they realized that Rainbow Dash would be more willing to let them leech off of her greatness.

I could never bring myself to watch a full episode, but I saw the ending and yeah. Lightning Dust was somebody who could get the mission done, no matter the cost. Yet Rainbow Dash threw a fit and whined and whoever that was in the desk agreed.

Nah, Spitfire had to drum it into RD that being a successful fighter pilot Wonderbolt is about teamwork and not recklessness.

She even had Maverick and Goose along to make the point.

Lightning Dust is almost a carbon copy of Rainbow Dash. The difference is that Lightning Dust has the drawbacks of RD magnified (reckless, daring, arrogance) to the point RD is frightened by it.

Nah Lightning Dust does abrasive better than the real Dash, while Rainbow tries to have it both ways and does neither right.

Midnight Strike is a name I approve of. Reminds me of the "main" dragon in the movie How to Train Your Dragon.

Actually season 3 is only 13 episodes long

We all know the general favorite villian is discord from the EQD poll, but I have a different, but same basis, question:                                                          Who do you think is the most evil of all the villains?

At first glance I would have answered Chrysalis, but more than a few synapse tazings later, Nightmare Moon. She is literally going to kill every mortal thing, or you know, drive everyone to the other side of the planet.

You need to get a bit more familiar with science fiction. When a planet is tidally locked, or the same side of it is always facing the sun, the side that always faces the sun gets too hot to survive, and the other side gets too cold to survive.  If the planet is otherwise similar to the earth, only a thin ring of surface area between the illumintated and darkened regions is inhabitable. Sorta like the planet Bryyo from Metroid Prime 3. As for most evil villain, it has to be either Twilight or Celestia.  "It's quite lonely being encased in stone. But you wouldn't know that, would you because I don't turn ponies into stone!"

Or wait, no, maybe Photo Finish is the most evil villain because she pretty much enslaved Fluttershy for a whole episode.
