Considering where you're asking this question our answers (for the most part) should be obvious, no? XD

There's no harm done in at least checking it out. The first two episodes on season one are the obvious place you should start, but for some, the show doesn't doesn't pick up untill the third episode. It could also be that the show just isn't for you, which is understandable.

Well if you cant see life in Legion then I cant guarantee you will be able to appreciate the  of energy and life that goes into MLP, but who knows.
