I think it's funny how people don't want any spoilers for a bloody MLP episode. It's not like we're talking about a plot-contrieved season finale, it's just a standard ep.

For those who are possibly thinking "you wouldn't know how it feels, you don't understand the importance of being unspoiled"

Some time ago, Irrational released the first five minutes of the actual finished game. I'm not going to watch it, and I'm not going to watch anything else about Infinite until the day it launches. I want to stride into the best storyline of the next year completely unware of what is going to happen, just as I did when I first played BioShock.

Even I'm interested in Infinite and I haven't even played the other two. They're the spiritual successor to the System Shock games right? I'll pick up the PS3 version which comes with Bioshock 1.

Yup. You can skip BioShock 2 entirely, even though I think it gets exaggerated negativity from the fans. It's not that it's a bad game. It's a normal game. It just isn't a pure shining gem like BioShock was.

Imagine going from Dragon Age Origins to Dragon Age 2, but the combat stays the same, you aren't trapped in one unchanging city, and the established lore isn't continually murdered.

Edit: to clarify, BioShock 2 wasn't made by the team behind BioShock, but Infinite is. It's their first project since BioShock, if I'm not mistaken, and they have delayed it countless times to polish things up. The worst criticism I've heard from people at PCGamer who've played an early preview was "sometimes the combat is just a bit better than BioShock's", and BioShock's combat was "fine". It didn't win any prizes (though people were dazzled by plasmids), but that's not its focus, anyway.

In fact, the main criticism of BioShock was that despite the extra atmosphere character, the confined, minuscule ambient was too limiting. So they decided to make their next game in the bucking sky with a giant roller coaster for you to use at will to travel around. That's a direct way of addressing an issue

This is where I have to disagree with you LukeSkyMac, The characters and story are so much better in Bioshock 2, especially since it doesn't falll apart in the end like the first one. Plus the combat is about 5x better with the whole dual wielding system.

So did anybody else think that Spitfire was a bunghole in the last episode? She spent the entire time praising Lightning Dust for her work, and she didn't even warn her to stop engaging in the behavior that up until than she had been rewarding. She just kicked her out without even warning her that she didn't want her to push herself as hard. Lightning Dust kinda got screwed tbh.
