Speaking of last episode, anyone else remember how Lightning Dust and Rainbow Dash slapped their wings together when they first met? Is that like the same as two dudes slapping their...you know whats together? O_O

Nope, it's a mockumentary staring Sacha Baron Cohen as Twilight Sparkle.  Cohen, who is really a human in a pony suit, is the only payed actor in the whole thing. None of the ponies are scripted.

I watch the show because it has good humour, without the need to insult groups and crude humour, and clean animation.

I'm part of the fandom because they make awesome things(art, charity work, fan animation and fiction, and flash games) and I'm learning to do awesome things because of them.

i too must admit. Ive become a better person watching this show! I never knew how magical friendship could be! I didnt know it at the time, but just because we're all adults it doesnt mean we're done learning our lessons so to speak. Like the lesson of not spreading yourself out too thinly to please everypony like in the pinkie pie episode this season. Anybody else learn something like that from the show?

I think thats one of the reasons the show is so successful. Those lessons taught in the show aren't exclusive to children- adults could learn or thing or two about how to act, especially the ones that are so critical of the program.

Yep. It's similar to Veggietales and Animaniacs. Most of the episodes are a bit closer to the latter, focusing on characters and humor - though each episode typically comes with a lesson a la Veggietales.

Which has a bit of truth to it. Most who join the herd never come out.
