Superb episode. It was a bit more laid back than what I was expecting, but they did well on the writing. 8.7 out of 10 for me. A very important lesson to be learned from this episode. This, Magic Duel, and Sleepless in Ponyville are my top 3 picks of this current season.

The ending felt kind of abrupt but I agree. DHX did the best with what they had to work with in their always short timeframe when making these episodes. And he's still going to be a mischievous prankster, he just won't use his powers for evil so much anymore, which is good and much more preferable to a full heel turn in his character.

Well, I kinda thought about that... and then thought that the zebra thing is probably in the entirely different school of magic that involves the stars and/or the Eater and dropped the idea...

Well, the spell that Twilight is going to use to fix their cutie marks will probably be a different school of magic, but as for the curse that mixed them up in the first place, who knows?

Great episode, I liked it. Discord wasn't nearly as extreme as before, but he had to be that way for the episode to work.

Then again, it always was impossible but now the show makes it even clearer. hah

Great episode, 9/10. I'm also putting it right there with Sleepless in Ponyville.

To me, the ending was a tad rushed, but not nearly as some people I've heard claiming it was. In fact, had they cut those precious exposition seconds at the beginning of the episode (because hurr durr you have be able to watch it out of order hurr) and put them straight into making Discord ponder more, and I'd give it a 9.5 instead.

Did anyone aside from me notice that rainbow calls him dicord instead is discord? I think tomorrow i'm going to take some of my analysis software to it just to make sure but it sounds almost unmistakeable

Both actually I haven't heard any bad derpy VA's/Fan VA's I prefered the original marginally to the new one though. I appreciate Derpy Derpy she is adorable and reminds me of me somehow.... I'm not sure if it's the muffins which i to love particularly cornbread muffins which are amazing, or the clumsiness and lack of observation skills from time to time, lack of spacial awareness, Poor Eyesite... etc.. Not sure exactly which traits it is that we share that she really tugs on for me but she is my favorite pony, followed by Fluttershy, RD and *insert obligatory Earth Pony* I dislike most of the unicorns we see, a few notable exceptions being side characters like Lyra and DJ Pon3 B34ts.

Another one of those I-Was-Looking-Up-Something-Completely-Unrelated deals, I found this and don't recall it being posted before.

As far as the ending, it's slightly rushed, but not that rushed. Could've used more time, but not a dealbreaker against the episode.
