South Jersey here(though I want out) and eating horse meat isn't really heard of.

There's nothing "wrong" with it, just that people like horses and see them higher on the totem pole than cows, so horse meat isn't something I think most people would want to eat.

Hell I love horses and even I'd eat a horse steak. Once. Not in the sight of any horses lest they trample me to death.

To narrow it down a bit for me I live In Detroit, Michigan Specifically All my life.  I have meet plenty of other bronies here though. Several public borhoofs open discussions and i think it's one of the largest subgroups at our Yearly Convention Youmacon .
