I mean, making a completely different IP that's also based on small horses and runs parallel to FiM, that's fine. But making the Mane 6 stumble upon a portal to Earth, become humanized teen versions of themselves (that'll become utter teen caricatures of their past selves GUARANTEED, just look at their poses), studying on a university conveniently named for horse puns?

Some people that claim to be game programmers at /mlp/ say they want to salvage Fighting is Magic.

Basically, they are good programmers but couldn't draw a circle to save their lives, so they'll try to salvage art assets + music from the leaks and put them on their own engine, with joystick support, multiple resolutions, etc. They say their work would be completely underground.

I am, as always, deeply skeptical. But hopeful.

Apparently this Mulp is someone who's known for trolling the fandom on Tumblr. Also there's nil real citation, just speculation for everybody, Either way though, I'll believe it untill proven false.

Yeah, the thing is, this is not an isolated image or rumor. New IP + "Things change" + "Equestria Girls" + This. It all makes sense

Meh, I've already entered acceptance mode (maybe I'm a salarian?). The ****up potential is huge, but if it's well executed it could potentially *GASP* be better than FiM. Though we'd inevitably lose the fantasy aspect, I'm afraid.

Also, I sincerely hope they don't animate them like Littleles Pet Shop. I've never seen an episode, but the ads alone turn me off.

Edit: I'm actually more pissed with the Fighting is Magic debacle than with this, despite my Doom Paul dump suggesting otherwise

Remember the post where the new IP and movie was revealed? Luke pointed out a screenshot on a TV below digital media that showed crystal versions of Cadance and Twilight in a cave. It's blurry as buck, but if you notice you can see a larger pony to the top left, most likely Celestia with an orange smaller one to the right.



Now EQD just posted some more pics of merch from the Nuremburg Toy Fair, and there was a new pony in there with a similar colour scheme wearing a mask (there is other merch of the Mane 6 wearing masks) and had a unique sun cutie mark.



It's very likely this character will have an important role in the movie. As for the screenshot itself, I think I can safely say that from the Hub promos the finale will be taking place almost entirely in Ponyville, so unless it's a season 4 screenie which is unlikely, this will most definitely be from the movie.

Though I was just about to bring that up, the TV is showing a Crystal-ized Cadance and Twilight (which looks like she is already a alicorn for that, due to the size), in a crystal cave/building. Could it be underground? Part of the Crystal Empire or the cave underneath Canterlot.
EDIT: Whoops, missed the Crystal-ized Celestia and the orange mare in the back, really grainy picture.

Either way, that pony with the Ying-Yang Sun cutiemark is rather questionable. It might be to early, but she could have something to do with the new IP.

And that Luna next to her saddens me. When will she get her own mold, WHEN? I mean really, Cadance's mold?
