Could be worse, as in CGI. Remember when that one Hasbro PR guy tried to push the Care Bears reboot on us and failed spectacularly? That CGI human kids face is still burned into the back of my mind. *shudders*.

Also y'all should totally check out the comments in the EQD post that popped up regarding this that pretty much exploded.

My little sister got a doll with those kind of proportions, it made me want to design toys just so I could stop the anatomy butchery, because this doll wasn't from a cartoon.

It's not the fact that their unrealistic to life, that I could handle becasue it is a cartoon. What I mean is, from an aesthetics point of view, the design doesn't look too good.

It's like the pony babies from 3.5, they just don't look right. It's not that they're too far removed from the source material, it's the entire design in it of itself that is not nearly as appealing as it could be.

Probably wouldn't have as big a problem if the arms weren't the size of twigs, that's what's throwing the whole thing off.
