That's because the episode was designed to be a musical. Only way they could cram so much in 22 minutes while making it decent.

That was pretty crazy yeah. Kind of reminded me of the last Harry Potter, where Volermort killed Harry and then he and Dumbledore had that walk and talk through a whiteish mind space.

Community verdict so far on the finale seems to be that the episode rubbed most the right way. Some say it was good though rushed and there are a few who decry it as the worst episode ever, yet say they want to stay with the show regardless to see where it goes from here on in season 4. I bucking knew they wouldn't keep to their words on leaving the fandom if they didn't like it. One does not simply leave this fandom.

Apparently people spotted Derpy, Doctor Whooves and a foal near the end.

Oh Celestia, all Season 3 is one big damn musical. tbh, I'm sick and tired of that.

I don't i don't understand. THat how it's not it's clearly not T-T why does this confuse me as much as russian dash cams T-T How can they say such slander the musiks were amazing, the content was great, Twilight Didn't just get wings she literrally ascended into i think godhood. 

I could see criticizing the Season somewhat because it felt kinda off but i think this season was the Empire strikes back of ponies. Not that it was the best like empire strikes back but that it's given us critical infomration building to something much awesomer in the next season. We know Discords magic is needed for something, Twilight is now a "god" of sorts, the Crystal Empire has returned with their poweful magic that was needed to protect their land and the rest of equestria. And we know of the existence of more super powered artifacts than the Elements of Harmony of which Equestria and thus celestia now possess 3 (the elements, the crystal heart, and the alicorn amulet.) And we know of now 3 types of magic that of Friendship(debatable if it's even real magic in the show), then actual magic, and corrupted magic.  the real question is What is going on that Celestia needs all these powerful magics and items and people? Hopefully they do something with it in season 4.
