its a wierd double standard. And in my mind it makes perfect sense. Who wants to do that to ponies? But when you think about it in the Harkness test context, its no different than BSNers shipping themselves with Hanar or Elcor.

Now that you mention it... Yes it is rather odd. I think the resentment/horror of it though comes from the fact that they are a familiar species that has been made fictionally 'sentient' as opposed to the Turians or the Asari, or even the Elcor(who i'm sure people would react in a much more reasonable way to than ponies) who were made as sentient in their original design as opposed to ponies... which in nature are non-sentient by our standards. But yes i believe you make an interesting point worth noticing. More considerablely with, EDI, and Krogan and Elcor. Than with Turians, Asari and Quarians who are more like us than different as far as we're concerned but still. It is a valid point the idea Sex with anything non-human is essentially the same as clopping by another name in my book. even if it is some how more acceptable in ME.

What's got me curious is how the narrative structure will be changing once Season 4 hits. With Twilight Sparkle has an official Alicorn/Pony Princess, her levels of interaction not only with the mane 6, but with Equestria itself will be drastically changing.

I kinda wish the last episode would've been the first for Season 3.

The Bronydoc extended interview trailer has been revealed and in Lauren Faust's segment we hear what her future plans for some of the Mane 6 and CMC were.

She intended for them to go their seperate ways in the end. Dash to be with the Wonderbolts, Rarity to open up shop in Canterlot, AJ and Flutters to presumably stay in Ponyville, the CMC to get their cutie marks and here's the real clincher. Twilight to become Celestia's successor.

Just imagining the Faust purists reactions to the last thing is brilliant. Suddenly what they think Faust would have done instead doesn't hold any ground.

And yet they will still preach the gospel of "lauren faust didn't want twilight to be an alicorn" all day long.

Anyone, enough of foalish talk, we need more waiting for season 4 pcis.

I have faith in our compatriots, just in the last two weeks they've released a new chapter of all three of the fallout equestrian spinoffs I'm following. We are becoming increasingly efficient in hiatus survival.
