So from what I've been reading, the hotel is almost certainly getting sued.

I suppose it still remains possible that the con organizers got way in over their heads and had a complete meltdown, without any malice intended, but the hotel has conducted some blatantly illegal activity and acted highly unprofessionally regardless.

EDIT:

Anybody else remember the monorail episode the Simpsons (one of the best, if not -the- best, Simpsons episodes ever)? The one that paid homage to The Music Man and Super Speedy Cider Squeezy paid homage to in turn?

We call this a fly-by-night operation.

I'm kind of thinking the fire alarm that split the 3 Ponies, 3 Princess, and 1 Dragon panel was a way for the organizers to get away. What I would do to get out of a building unnoticed, although I don't have the moral makeup to do that (I still can't force myself to do Bad Karma playthroughs).

Yup. That's why some of the original fanart for it had Pinkie with curly hair. Nobody had any idea that straight-haired Pinkamena existed.

I actually thought it was a bit overlong =/. Maybe if they put it closer to the middle of the episode it would have been better.
