Hold off on the Spike the Dog thing, people. It makes a twisted sort of sense, but there's reasonable evidence that the pic was seen on Derpibooru a month ago, well before Equestria Girls was confirmed to exist.

Don't worry Volus, on the flipside in the comic Spike saved Canterlot by defeating building sized cockatrices while riding Celestia, wielding a trident and wearing a cape and eyepatch whereas the Mane 6 buggered off to save three dumb fillies from Chrysalis who was on the other side of Equestria, an obvious trap.

Besides if what Baron says is true it doesn't matter anyway.

I wish Celestia's art style in the show was closer to the comic. She's so beautiful on the comic and kinda weird on the show. Just look at the frame where she's in the water with Spike FFS.
