Has anyone here ever been to a MLP convention?

I personally would love to see Bronycon 2013 but I don't have enough money to spare T~T

I have not and am not planning to attend any MLP conventions.

If I ever do, it'd probably require Aura of Equestria doing extremely well and compelling me to go meet some readers.

Hopefully not weird ones. But you know.

Nah, I'm not THAT much into MLP to attend conventions. Maybe if one came to Sweden then I might consider it.

Don't have the kind of money to go to a convention to be honest. Flying out to a big city, spending money on a hotel, transportation, food, etc.

I can't afford that at the moment.

Yeah, all the money that goes into simply attending a con is crazy.

Its really just another place to meet and talk about what you like and share in common with other people. As fun as that is, its easier and much more cost efficient over hyuh

I get the feeling some cloppers must've taken a liking to Skyfall's concept art on Lily's DA because the average amount of downloads for her artwork is like 8-18 per character, but Skyfall's concept art has 31.

Also Bronycon 2013 is already sold out of Diamond passes and gold passes which is $2,000 and $500 respectivally.

I wish I was rich.

What is Aura of Equestria?

A fanfic I decided to write 8 months ago when Luke's sister Jules(or Lily as we often call her due to her DA tag) did an A+ drawing of a character I came up with.

The fanfic hasn't been written yet, all that has been written is planning stage stuff, as I'm awaiting her to finish drawing the rest of what I'd imagined as the main cast.

She's stopped doing much art for now because she's sort of hit a bit of artist's block.

That and she's got classes starting Thursday. Artwork classes, this time focusing on drawing human art.

So it'll likely be a while before we see anything new.

I know that feel, I'm still trying to find time to draw a ponified-character that I came up with before I joined the fandom.
I was able to sneak a Fluttershy in a landscape though.
