True, I used an incorrect description, antagonist, the negative force in the episode. And I do agree that Spitfire was a little too harsh to outright exspel her without hearing a counter-arguement.

The way I saw it, she was expelled for doing exactly what Spitfire implied that she should. She could have tried to rein her rash tendencies in earlier, but instead she just encouraged her by making her lead pony. As Gilda would say, Spitfire was a total flipflop. Cool one minute, lame the next.
