Hi there. Long time no see.

Thoughts on EG trailer:

- Animation is quite nice
- They certainly haven't forgotten the personalities of the Mane 6.
- Designs are much better than the promo material, as I suspected it would (I really did, check it)
- The background music is worrying
- NO NO NO NO TWILIGHT GETS A ROMANTIC INTEREST NOOOOOOOO

The most concerning thing is: I know the entire plot just from watching the trailer.

Sunset Shimmer for some reason (jealousy for not making it as Celestia's star student, probably) steals the Element of Magic and runs through the portal to the "human" world. Twilight goes after her alone, gets transformed, and finds out that the Element of Magic is this year's Prom Queen crown, and that Sunset has won every single one so far.

So she re-friends the Mane 5 (as they apparently have no idea who she is here) and they unite in order to win the Prom Queen and get back the Element of Magic. To do so, Twilight needs a Prom King... and that guy is, by the coat color, the dude at the end of that reception in Equestria, who is, by the shield in his shirt in the "human" world, the new Royal Guard now that Shining Armor isn't.

Sorry if you've already discussed this, but I'm not going to read 70+ pages to catch up XD

Twilight's gonna get knocked up and her LI will leave her, changing his name, and moving to a different state. Her baby will be called Bastard Sparkle, and a sequel will consist of her searching aimlessly in all the wrong places for a dad. 

On second thought, maybe the child should be called Lannister Sparkle.
