It looks like she's talking to the crown rather than Spike. She started talking to herself a lot after she banished her sister to the moon for a 1000 years. Still does it now though nobody dares point it out to her.

Phoenixes in the show are rather big, which is hard to notice unless you get a screenie.

So, I've never seen the show, though I must admit, I think it looks pretty cool.

Sounds like you need to look for Season 1 Episode 1 and get to work from there. haha

Though the first two episodes don't really cover how the show really is, so you won't know if you like it till a few episodes in.

And the show's got MUCH more adult references and such from Season 2 onwards.

SWEET CELESTIA! I found a Build-a-bear workshop in Burnaby and they were selling MLP build-a-bears! Apparently a brony horde bought all the pinkiepie and rainbow dash ones out!

Any1 wanna go on the next RL raid? They'll be selling Twilight sparkle with Dash come July or August. Its the at Burnaby, Metrotown.
