Well without the tools and know-how (and let's face it, they're raiders, they don't), you couldn't get much out of it.

It would make sense during season 3, with Luna's self doubt and fear causing her to regress.

I'm going with that, very character deep that way.

Not all initiates to survive the cult-like process potential bronies are going to end up enjoying the show. My brother and sister have always been into Animaniacs/Veggietales, but MLP isn't doing anything for them. It doesn't help that Season 1 & 3, at least in my opinion, were never that impressive. If I were to relive the MLP experience anew, I would've started with The Return of Harmony, and pick out specific gems from season 2 instead. To me, it's not a series best watched from the original beginning to the end in that order.
