So. It's not good, not bad. It's just ok enough not to be bad. But it does make you sad that the one time DHX gets 1+ hour of screentime, they have to spend it on a highschool plot...

A Canterlot Wedding Parts 1 and 2 put together felt like a movie.

The only thing that bothers me about ACW is Shining. Not the "we should have known him before!" thing (that I can understand), but how they decided to make him and Twilight inseparable BBBFFs and yet Twilight mentioned anything at all about him (and by extension, gave us that song). I mean, having them become distant for *any* reason - like both of them getting too much focused on their respective duties - would be better than what we got.

But yes, the main reason I'm talking about this is because I don't like BBBFF. But I'm rambling, as always.

Have you noticed that the Mane 6 are in the Crystal Empire during the events of EG because that's where S4 will start? I thought that was kind of neat. It really establishes EG as some random crazy thing that happened between S3 and S4.

Yeah Celestia says she has "Has something very important to talk with them about, but that can wait until morning."

That thing is the S4 premiere plot.

No, she had to do that to maintain Luna's imprisionment. Sunset Shimmer was next in line for sacrifice, but when she fled, she half-baked the plan with the Elements and Twilight.

So, my brother and his wife have known about my interest in MLP for a while, and never really knew what to think about it. On my sister's birthday party, they decided to give me a belated birthday present... it was a holder for my suit, but the bag itself was of the MLP:FiM variety. They said it was done in good spirits, but I say revenge is a dish best served with ponies. I wonder what they'll be getting for christmas...
