MLP might be pronounced with its letters, but RWBY is pronounced "Ruby". Like the gem. Which now has made me realize that Spike must really love that show.

People who prononounce it "ruby" are bad. Almost as bad as people who pronounce the first 'a' in 'Nevada' the way you'd pronounce it in the word 'father'.
