I, um, hmm....

Technically Cadence was in Equestria Girls for a brief time without being irrevocably linked to the plot itself. Canterlot Wedding had a greater focus on her than Crystal Empire, anyhow.

Also, she's a living breathing entity with features and traits that define a character... and she's a plot device. At the same time.

So, let's say Hasbro decides to make a Console/Digital Downloadable My Little Pony Video Game.

What kind would you want them to make? A Pony Kart-esque game? A Banjo-Kazooie-esque Adventure game? Or something completely different? Or should it be killed with fire?

Well if Hasbro is making it then I suspect it wil have the same quality as its merchandise, so I would most likely pass.

Also I tried that my little pony game app on my phone which was fun until they pressured me into buying gems to keep up, then I realized that enough was enough and I let Ponyville be consumed by parasprites...

I wouldn't be against an open-world format.

There is a developer that said they wanted to make a pony game, but I don't remember who. And we would prefer a comics-level maturity to it.

They were was a fan Pony Kart game that was in development, and a couple well-known artists posted music for it, but I have no idea what the status on it is. 

Come to think of it, I'm not sure how many of the pony games ever made it to release. The CMC adventure game and the Phoenix Wright game never made it that far either, I don't think (although they might still be in dev). 

Anyways, RPG or point-and-click adventure/puzzle game for me. Don't think pony translates well to the strategy genres.
