In many respects, Equestria is like a older time.

Do you know that women would be sold off to marriage days after they have shown they are viable to make children?

Now, given the females in Equestria are not sold off to marriage, the biologically ready stigma may still be there. The only reason we don't have kids that age getting pregnant is because it is socially not thought of.

Twilestia, why We personally don't like the idea of it(seems a little too forced, like FlutterDash), is a lot less creepy given their implied culture.

PipsqueakxLuna is definitely a no-no however, and creepy no matter where/when you go.
