Unfortunately he apparently doesn't understand the difference between "cloppers" and normal people in the community either and just seems to associate everything with that despite my protests and explanaitions -.-

You'd been trying to explain it to someone for over a year - if this is his belief, I would not reccomend going any further. Some people are on the fence on the subject, and some are not open to persuasion. He strikes me as the latter, and I wouldn't try explaining it. MLP doesn't work for everyone(though the potential audience is certainly wide). I don't want it to come off exactly like we're converting people into a pony cult, but as mentioned before, I'd suggest looking at people's interests and tastes to determine whether their Brony Value™ Is high enough to perform a Full Bronification Procedure. Let me elaborate. Does said individual:

• Enjoy Cartoons, specifically those with satirical/adult humor? (i.e. Animaniacs/VeggieTales/Simpsons/Futurama) For the sake of expanding to the full brony audience, let's include Flash Videos from websites like Newgrounds or the like. Since disney is an obvious inspiration from some of these episodes, let's toss that in too.
• Enjoy Music or Musical Numbers?
• Also enjoy returning to their child at heart?
• If they strike you as an Open-minded individual, this is also an important factor to consider.

These strike me as the major points to whether they would or would not fit the criteria for enjoying this show and its fanbase.

One other thing. I did finish the current demo of Ponyvania, and it's got my approval. The 3rd level, Cloudsdale, is absolutely gorgeous and has an atmosphere reminiscent of the often missed game Demon's Crest. It also has some of the best new designs for enemies(and yes, there are medusa pony heads!). The guy below is "Amalaric Sniper".

The boss for cloudsdale was also on the same quality as the previous 2 "final" bosses of the previous levels. Wasn't nearly as hard as the Hydra battle, but he put up a good fight(and even took notes from a certain mega man boss) Here's the first 30 seconds of the boss. Sorry about the size, fraps wouldn't show the whole thing - maximize the window to get a better view.

[*]Some how i cannot remove that list command... it is rather odd[*]IN anycase as i said he brings up ponies of his own volition in various discussions we have had and makes these assumptions. I merely try to clarify the things he brings up, i get his disinterest in the show i don't get how "[we're] being pushy" by wearing parfenalia, creating content etc... (especially when hes the one who often pushes this conversation) Further his use of minority groups judge all bronies irritates me so i try to clarify when he does but he just doesn't apparently understand the difference between minority/fringe groups and the main body of a community. I don't bring up the subject of ponies around him because he is unpleasent about it, he still however brings it up.

Just a heads up - it's not NES Castlevania difficult, but it is fairly hard. On the plus side, it's downright gorgeous, comes with full-blown customization, and mages unicorns are some seriously overpowered fighters. As nice as the pegasus flight ability is, it seems unnecessary since teleportation with low mana usage beats it.

The view count-to-reply ratio is huge. Some people are Pone-Curious and merely testing the waters. To be frank, I was one of them as well for a while. I definitely didn't jump feet first into this fanbase, but I'm glad I slammed in.

In terms of decision making, follow the 3 A's: Acceptance, Avoidance, or Alteration. If you cannot alter his belief, to what extent can you avoid him? If he attempts to engage in discussions seemingly intent on irritating you, simply cut off the attention towards him. Since the conversation here is entering Off-Topic in Off-Topic territory, I'd try PMing me/other friends if he persists. Not sure what else to say.
