This is the guy behind the animation work in a bunch of Gainax stuff, like Gurren Lagann, Evangelion, Panty & Stocking, Little Witch Academia and possibly Kill la Kill too, and we've most likely posted a bunch of his works in this thread without even realising they were drawn by him.

It's quickly going the way of IT theory as well.
If you consider the premiere to be Parts 2 and 3 of the season finale, and thus like the EC, it's basicaly perfect.

In the latest episode it was demonstrated that Celestia can use all 6 elements at once and Luna can only use 3, therefore Celestia is the most powerful.Inquisitor Recon wrote...

fortunately MY FANFICS AREN'T RUINED
MUH FANFICS
PANDAS
Paleopony Period – “Old Pony Period”
- Pony prehistory; predates the development of writing
- The first tribes; Earth ponies (Terrans), Pegasi, Unicorns. They are divided into small towns and cities. The concept of themselves as The Three Tribes would not develop until much later.
- Rudimentary agriculture, weather control, and magic are first understood.
- A population of ponies is afflicted with the Cutie Pox. The plague eventually disappears as mysteriously as it arrived.
Antiquity
I. Pre-classical Era
- The Three Tribes arise a social and political concept. Earth ponies have an affinity for the land; the provide food for all as farmers. Pegasus ponies have an affinity for the sky; they can fly and control the weather. Unicorn ponies have an affinity for magic; they provide tools, goods, and services to the tribes.
- Star Swirl the Bearded first rises to prominence. Among his discoveries is the amniomorphic spell, more commonly known as the polymorph spell.
- Somewhere in the uncharted north, the Windigos arise. The Three Tribes tense coexistence breeds distrust and hatred, fueling their strength.
- The Long Winter begins. The Windigos unleash a supernatural winter upon the Tribes. Famine nearly destroys pony civilization and pushes ponykind to the brink of extinction.
- Celestia and Luna are “born” to Star Swirl in his laboratory residence deep within the Everfree Forest, on the fringes of the known world. They are the first alicorns.
- Attempting to flee the icy grip of the Windigos, the Three Tribes come into further conflict over a disputed land claim. Huddled in a high mountain cave, Clover the Clever, unicorn apprentice to and adopted daughter of Star Swirl the Bearded, befriends a pegasus and an Earth pony, and inadvertently discovers and taps into the first Element of Harmony, Magic, embodying the spark of friendship and love in all. The expeditions narrowly survive their ordeal.
- Rallying together, the Three Tribes defeat the Windigos and create their new land, naming it Equestria. They co-rule it together in harmony.
- The founding of Equestria, traditionally held to be over the night the expeditions spent in the cave, is named and becomes celebrated as the Hearth’s Warming Eve.
- Star Swirl the Bearded and Clover the Clever continue research into the Elements of Harmony. The leaders of the expedition and their assistants eventually become known as the first Bearers, and are the Ancestors of the modern Bearers.
II. classical Era – “The Chaotic Age”
- The draconequus Discord, a childhood friend of Celestia, reappears after a long exile. The nascent nation of Equestria falls under his control. The Elements of Harmony are lost and the Bearers go into hiding. Ponykind once more falls into unrest and unhappiness.
- The changelings first appear as enforcers of Discord’s reign. They breed further fear and distrust among the population, keeping the nation locked in a state of chaos.
- The sun and the moon are adversely affected by Discord’s power (and his tendency to change day to night and back again at a whim). Eventually, their natural revolution around the earth is halted. The unicorns take it upon themselves to restart the cosmos and mange their rising.
- The sisters Luna and Celestia rediscover the Elements of Harmony. Celestia assumes the mantles of Kindness, Generosity, and Laughter, while Luna assumes Magic, Honesty, and Loyalty.
- Celestia and Luna wield the Elements and defeat Discord, imprisoning him in stone. The changelings, all but a few deprived of their intelligence, scatter to the winds.
III. Late classical Era – “The Concordant Age”
- Celestia and Luna fulfill the destinies Star Swirl envisioned for them and co-rule Equestria, restoring harmony to all. As part of their duties, they take on from the unicorns the role of rising the sun and moon, respectively.
- Their childhood home in the Everfree Forest is transformed into the Castle of the Royal Pony Sisters.
- Canterlot is founded by the unicorns, near the site of the first meeting of the Three Tribes in Equestria. Pegasi and Earth ponies are invited to a grand party inaugurating the city. This would eventually evolve into the tradition of the Grand Galloping Gala.
- Canterlot becomes the nominal capital of Equestria, the regal sisters dividing their time between it and their castle. The new Equestrian nobility make their seat of power here. The Traditional Royal Canterlot Voice develops during this time period.
Medieval Period
I. Early Medieval Era – “The Dark Age”
- Despite their joint role in the defeat of Discord, Celestia’s personality is better suited for public leadership, and she is the more beloved of the regal sisters. Luna, hurt by the adoration lavished on her older sister and the lack of attention paid to her night, withdraws further from a leadership role.
- Luna begins to descend, as her jealously of Celestia grows. One day, she refuses to lower the moon to make way for the dawn. The bitterness in her heart twists her into a wicked mare of darkness, and she assumes a new name: Nightmare Moon.
- The Long Night. For 72 hours, Nightmare Moon shrouds Equestria in a state of permanent nightfall, as she and Celestia battle. Finally, on the eve of the summer solstice, the height of the sun’s power, Celestia wields the Elements of Harmony and defeats Nightmare Moon. Unable to restore Luna, she imprisons her on the moon.
- In her grief over the loss of her sister, Celestia’s connection to the Elements of Harmony is broken, and they are lost once again.
- The battle between Celestia and Nightmare Moon has adverse effects on the Everfree Forest. The huge magical energies outputted during the battle locally sever the control ponykind traditionally maintained over their domains. In time, it becomes a feared place where dangerous creatures reside, animals care for themselves, and plants grow and clouds move all on their own.
II. High Medieval Era – “The Sun Age”
- The Castle of the Royal Pony Sisters, ruined by Celestia and Nightmare Moon’s battle and the site of too many painful memories, is abandoned. Celestia moves the seat of her government to Canterlot full time, and she alone raises the Sun and the Moon.
- For a time, the traditional marking of the summer solstice, the Summer Sun Celebration, is also a commemoration of the defeat of Nightmare Moon. Eventually this practice fades, and it once again becomes a simple celebration of the summer solstice, and of Celestia’s reign.
- Stories of Nightmare Moon become divorced from the regal sisters’ battle. The historical accounts eventually devolve into the mythical prophecy of the “Mare in the Moon”, regarded as nothing more than an old pony’s tale. Nightmare Moon, in the meantime, becomes the central figure of the annual Nightmare Night.
III. Late Medieval Era - "The Dusk Age"
Modern Period
I. Early Modern Era
- Celestia’s reign continues. Ponykind enters a period of great advancement in magic, philosophy, science, and industry.
II. Late Modern Era
- Cloudsdale is founded by the pegasi, becoming the location of the largest weather factory in Equestria and the central nexus for weather control across the country.
- The area around Cloudsdale and Canterlot becomes known as the Core Region, the westernmost portion of the vast pale of settlement known as the Equestrian Heartland.
- The Apple family settles in the region, near the Everfree Forest, and discovers the zap apple trees.
- Ponyville is founded by the Apple family and other Earth ponies. Some pegasi and unicorns also come to live in the new town.
- The Running of the Leaves is annually celebrated to shake the autumn leaves off the trees in the nearby Whitetail Wood.
- The tradition of Winter Wrap Up begins, as the population of the town pays tribute to its Earth pony roots.
III. Contemporary Modern Equestria
- Rarity is born in Ponyville.
- Applejack is born on Sweet Apple Acres, outside of Ponyville.
- Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash are born in Cloudsdale.
- Twilight Sparkle is born in Canterlot.
- Pinkie Pie is possibly born on a rock farm possibly located in Equestria.
- A young Rainbow Dash breaks the sound barrier and performs a Sonic Rainboom, a feat not seen in Equestria for over a thousand years.
- A young Twilight Sparkle is admitted to Princess Celestia’s School for Gifted Unicorns, as the personal protégé of the Princess.
- Appleoosa is founded by settlers in the northwestern Equestrian frontier.
- On the eve of the thousandth Summer Sun Celebration since the banishment of Nightmare Moon, Twilight Sparkle is sent to Ponyville to oversee the arrangements for that years’ national festival. There she meets Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie.
- Nightmare Moon escapes imprisonment on the moon. Twilight Sparkle leads her newfound friends into the Everfree Forest and once more rediscovers the Elements of Harmony in the ruins of the Castle of the Royal Pony Sisters. The descendents of the original Bearers, they assume the mantle of the Elements and defeat Nightmare Moon.
- Princess Luna is restored; she returns to her former role of co-rulership of Equestria, and one more takes charge of the moon.
- A dragon takes up residence inside the borders of Equestria for its century sleep. It is eventually removed by the Six.
- A parasprite swarm causes extensive property damage in Ponyville and Fillydelphia.
- Rainbow Dash performs another Sonic Rainboom at that year's Best Young Flyer Competition, winning the event and cementing her mastery over it.
- A small border conflict near Appleoosa between ponies and buffalo is resolved.
- Discord is accidentally freed from his own imprisonment. The Bearers overcome his efforts to drive them apart and once more use the Elements of Harmony, defeating and re-imprisoning him in stone.
- The Cutie Pox reappears in Ponyville. It is confined to a single patient and cured.
- A dragon rampage causes extensive property damage to Ponyville, but is mysteriously halted. No trace of the dragon was later found.
- A Great Dragon Migration, the first in a generation, occurs.
- A changeling hive mind, led by Queen Chrysalis, invades Canterlot. They are defeated and cast out.
- Shining Armor, brother of Twilight Sparkle, and Princess Mi Amore Cadenza, a niece of Celestia, are married.

But saying only Celestia can control all the Elements at once just because we only saw her do it is like saying I'm the only one who can shoot a automatic rifle because I've never seen anyone else do it.
