That has to be the most frightening thing I've seen since Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo practiced the pony mating ritual.Gravisanimi wrote...

I'd also say that's more of a difference in tastes and their philosophy of narrative design. Particularly in the later seasons, they add more of lore and a better sense of characterization between the two, but there's only so much you can add in an episode that lasts 600 seconds.MLP definitely works better with the 22-minute barline, since they're more focused on story than humor. I laugh a lot more during the Regular Show, but I feel more satisfied after an episode with MLP. "Emotional resonance".
i can agree with this whole heartedly this was an intersting conversation

nice setup baron, how much did it cost u to "trix" out your xmastree?
Fortunately this is not my tree.
It has entirely too much Trixie and entirely too little Twily*.
*Note that, in fact, none of my trees contain pony of any kind

I hate to say such unkind things about a brony, but is the guy who set this up for real? By that of course, I mean, did he set this up for himself or just to take the picture for our entertainment.? If it's the former, I get the feeling this picture might be submitted as evidence for the guy's insanity plea when he kills his first man. Hey, I'm just saying it, sorry.TheBlackBaron wrote...

Getting back to the Ruined Castle Setting is a nice touch, the ending to castle mane-ia indicated the possibility of seeing it again. Poor spike, the comic relief character. XD For the most part, I dug the designs. AJ's was a bit tacky, but definitely was digging Matter-Horn and Filli-Second. Mane-iac feels like sort of a mish-mash between Doc Oc and Chrysalis - certainly has the Mwa Ha Has down. Good lord, the mane puns.
And then, there's Brutashy. Turned out quite smashing, I think. Not much of a lesson besides the malevolence of hairspray(and the support-iness of Spike), but it succeeds well in entertainment value and a slight nod to Lauren's history with the Powerpuff Girls. It was pretty great.
