I don't Even Know. No.
~My Response to DovahB's post~

So, not to get sentimental or anything, but... This place, and the people in here are pretty damned awesome. Maybe S4 is making me nostalgic of the "golden days" or what-have-you. Fact of the matter is this topic is the first place I head to when logging on. I guess what I'm trying to saying is "Hey, friendship is magic after all <3", followed by my pummeled, lifeless body being thrown into the Equestrian pit of despair directly afterwords.
Anyways, thanks.

I loved the moral of the episode today. Most would say being Generous in a cutt-throat city like that is naive, but I like how this got turned on its head and became about remaining true to your good nature!
btw. Spike is a deer.

The concept of "friends" taking advantage of ones' generosity is all too common. I mean, look what happened to MC Hammer.

I'm going to be blunt: Suri(or however it's spelled) is a cold-hearted bits. The bitsiness of Suri is second only to The Tiara-Wearing Monstrosity from Fttf. At first, it looked like Rarity's problems were solved with an ingenious spark of inspiration, but quickly turned into something resembling a certain fan video from long ago. She'd unintentionally became her own enemy and was reminded that success is hardly the same without someone to share it with. The end really nails the theme that "paying it forward" may not always sound like the lucrative answer, but may be the best one in the end.
Alright, I'm going to say it. I shed a goddamned mantear on this episode, and that hasn't happened in a long time, since The Return of Harmony Episode.
9 Out of 10. Goddamit MLP, this is turning into the best Season.

Her idea was stolen and it stayed that way, she had to come up with another idea, her friends helped her put it together, and it ended up winning. That victory wasn't even revealed when normally expected either, but saved for a key moment, delivered by a key character that wasn't one of the mains.
That was cool.

Which is best rarity episode?Ah well, it wasn't the greatest Rarity centric episode ever, but I liked it.
Seconded. Rarity has always come off to me as a Double-Edged Sword. The taste of generosity can be equally met with the taste of vanity, and not everyone (Both In Equestria and In the Audience)will welcome that price. She has a tendency of going into "For-Any-Price" mode when it comes to achieving success. Not that Rarity is best pony or anything, but it feels great to see a Rarity episode again what with there not being any in Season 3.
So yeah, the random twists at the end. Since this seems exclusive to Season 4, they're trying to build up to something. My personal wager is a combination of the Pony of Shadows effects on the Mane 6, and/or the keys may be getting earned in more subtle ways than "rushing off to some far-off spot" or whatever.

I don't mind normal cosplay, but the full-body whatever-that-is has always been creepy to me. I suppose I don't mind it as much at Disney World's costumed characters if it's specifically worn for little kids, but I'm not sure the intent is the same here.Time to get the flamethrower.
...I'd rather not know the intent, to be honest. XD
