Well, the new episode is certainly the best AJ-centric one I've seen, though not as much to talk about compared to some of the heavy-hitter episodes. Regardless of the lineage/non-lineage between Apple and Pie, it's a good excuse to see the apple family working(or at least trying to) as a group, with pinkie pie as comedic relief.
It was a good episode. Not necessarily blown away, but good.

damn shame Apple Bloom got interrupted before she could finish singing "Twilightlicious" tbh.

it was ok, i think it may have focused a bit too much on our celbrities but i think it captured us in general and explained it pretty well, admittedly i was also playing a video game while it was running... so i may not have paid a lot of attention to it... >.> ... But it sounded ok. 


Although that reminds me of one thing:
How many of us here consider ourselves Introverts? Personally i do, i mean i can be extroverted in public but it takes effort as opposed to just living in my house away from people, which is rather nice since people are frustrating.

And there's a good chance it's the equivalent of Castle Mane-ia, where they're setting up parts for future episodes with Pinkie Pie as the hilarious 5th Wheel of the Family in some other setting. Or it's just a one-off, but it was cute anyways.

Eh, I've seen enough on YouTube regarding the subject, I'd rather save the money/time.

Something I noticed in FiMpressions(and didn't in the original episode), The Grandmother Golden Delicious had subtle traits similar to Pinkie Pie, implying she may have a blood connection after all - The Jenga Scroll gag, general insanity/aloofness, etc. Or the writers are just screwing with us. Also, surprising amount of insight at the end of that episode from Pinkie, keeping the Apples from bickering between themselves. Perhaps it's a healthier family dynamic with Pinkie on board?
