Joseco has apparently shut down Ask Princess Molestia + Gamer Luna. Bit of a shame - I think we'll come to see this as the end of an era for the first part of brony history.

I think the funniest thing about this is that /mlp/ is already discussing carrying on, and I'm sure there are plenty of random artists across the deviantnets and derpitubes that see this as their big chance.

There will be at least ten Molestia clones out there by the end of the week (and we should send all of them to pinkiepony just to spite her, regardless of her non-involvement in this).

As much as I loathe Molestia it is unfortunate to hear that was ended. Why the hell would the creator delete all of the old stuff too? I hear this has something to do with the social justice tumblr scum, any truth to that? Why aren't those people burnt alive on the stake yet?

EDIT: Oh yeah, APM has been the target of an airheaded, mentally ill (I am not using this lightly - she has legitimate mental problems, likely including Borderline Personality Disorder) teenage girl and her legion of sycophants for some time now. They don't appear to have had anything to do with it, though - JJ and the other people he runs the blog with have apparently been working on a new project for some time now, and since he wants more time to devote to that and his other (non-pony) webcomic and the last panel they made conveniently could serve as an ending, he decided it was time.

Supposedly as the story goes, the tumblr ask blog was taken down by a false report that someone made. The people who ran the blog were actually planning to quit in a couple of months anyway, so rather than make a big deal trying to get it reactivated, they decided to just quit there and move on to other things.

As for moral crusaders, someone was running a Down With Molestia movement and now she thinks she's responsible and is putting herself up on a pedestal claiming she was the one that made it happen.

To be fair, the only evidence that JJ got a C&D from Hasbro is a supposed screen cap of a chat log that was posted to /mlp/.

Not exactly what I call a smoking gun. According to pinkiepony's persecution complex /mlp/ has been out to get her for a while - making it seem like she or one of her follower's was responsible rather than JJ getting artist fatigue would actually make sense for them.
