I used to be worried what other people thought of the things I like, but you know, if you step back and think about it...it's funny how some distance, makes everything seem small. The fears that once controlled me, can't get to me at all.

Unfortunately that's generally what I do, outside of the internet. Despite how many times I've tried explaining the show to friends/family before naming the franchise, the MLP heritage from the 80's often prevents people from giving the show a chance. People watch a movie in the 90's of talking lions performing musical numbers, and no one panics. Horses show up doing essentially the same thing, and everybody loses their minds. I guess I got lucky with my sister, as she's the only one I've converted into the unholy pony cult.

Lesson Learned: It takes either a very open mind, or being a commendable kind of crazy to jump into this show. Having both helps too.

If my boss is a rarity fan, it'll be like a marshmallow attack next time I see her. She's canadian and a mother, so relative to everyone else in the workplace, I wouldn't mind revealing the secret.

I beat Mega Pony 2 by the way. I'd gotten up to the discord stage and this song started, I nearly fell out of my chair, what a great retro medley. Not exactly a retro fan, but the game overall nailed it. A few of the Discord Stage Bosses take more original directions than straight-from-the-show shtick. Also one of the reasons I liked Ponyvania, a lot of the basic enemy choices went in crazier directions.

So far so good on Three's a Crowd. The Crystal Train was pretty badass. The question of whether he was legitimately sick was, well, unquestionable, but that was never the point. To me the episode had more to do with motive(outside of an excuse to mess with Twi/Cadence's heads) which left a fair sense of intrigue. That combined with comedy bits and a musical number with a heavy amount of movie references makes for a great episode.

"You were faking it?!" I thought you were the smart one.

The whole "Friendship Test", as outlandish as that might be, is true to the character... despite it making him a Class-A butthead. Fortunately the Giant Hentai Monster gave him a dose of his own medicine and the sisters in law had fun anyway. The End.

8.5 out of 10, enjoyed this one.

I'm really happy they made Cadence look capable. Would've been too easy to put her in a "save me Impostor Twi!" scenario and had that been it, but even though it happened, the reverse also happened(Impostor Twi needing to be saved my Cadence) and Cadence was the one who finally trapped whatever you'd call that beast. For now lets go with Hentai Monster.

So hey, props to her. Course the Hentai Monster broke free anyway and got Discord sick. Showing Cadence's capabilities even more, she was the one to create the healing bubble, keeping her and Impostor Twi safe from the sickness. No surprise Discord was left out of it.

Cadence looking strong=Great episode in my book.

I noticed Flutters mentioned(and left for) the breezies, which happens to be the name of an episode fairly far off in the future. if they decide that flutterbat is indeed still "in" her and is just dormant at the moment, that would make a very opportune time to test out her kindness. It's rather hard to be kind while sucking sucrose and hissing at everyone. I just found it odd at the end of Bats! to show a growing fang, to then have it go right back to normal. Might be Cartoon logic or something along those lines.
