and theres nothing wrong with grown-ups watching cartoons. what i find intriguing is the threatened tone you exress this concern. id lke to explore why you feel threatened by the idea of adults, specifically men, watching a cartoon about cartoon ponies. Is it because its "for little girls?" thats rather sexist dont you think?

lastly, adults have existed side by side with children since time immemorial. to imply children will be alienated and abused simply because of the presence of an adult is flawed.

Hate to admit it, but RJ is right about one thing, some of us are too old to get anything out of the "life lessons".

It reinforces old ones, but I haven't really learned anything. It's likely to be prioritized towards children instead.

 

So I've been checking out earlier Season 4 episodes, and it seems like the entire thing was staged. So yep, Spoiler Button Thing.

There's a few too many convenient events in the episode for it to be all coincidence. Zecora holding an alicorn-only potion for Twi, Discord pointing(both literally and figuratively)her in the right direction, Celestia and Luna shrugging off vines a bit too casually, and the fact that these seedlings sprung on the exact day Celestia and Luna were meant to be front and center.I would not be surprised at all if Discord/Celes/Luna somehow catalyzed these beforehand with the intent of preparing "The Box". I wonder if it's been planned since Keep Calm and Flutter On.

 

The elements were made to "Maintain Equestria", would the two be leaving to some unknown location, with the "Ministry Mares" in charge of Equestria?

 

Normally I avoid crazy conspiracy theories like the plague, but this season is an exception.

So how you all feel about all this porn sh*t people make of a little girls' show. Or the harassment of underage voice actresses. I ask because I assume, as the sane members (also an assumption) of the "grown man" demographic of this show, you've got to have an opinion on this.

 

 

I'm fine with a "saucy" picture, that's something that I can enjoy because, in my experience, risky and saucy art is some of the best art of a fandom. Because they want to preserve the character they are drawing. R34 on the other hand, I will rip into that because I hate it. It might be well executed art wise, but they do not try to get any believability out of it. Oh, look at that normally shy character is ██████████████ just because they want her there.

 

And I haven't heard much about harassment of the underage voice actresses. I can think of at most 3 young actresses(maybe) that even work with the show. Those, similarly to r34 artists, I do not care for and would avoid.

well one of the writers did say this will be a season long arc. i wouldnt put it passed big sexy to troll twiley into doing the heavy lifting to throttle twilight into godpony status.

A lot of folks think ATLA is only for kids, but I love it immensely.  Seen the series three times, real dope - anyone of any age can watch it and enjoy it, but again - I don't find the fandom to be anywhere near the extremes I've seen from MLP.  I'm curious as to where that came from, but that's me.
