If you actually meet someone like that at a convention, you have the my permission and the fandom's, as well as humanity's, to break their jaw.

 

But at least say "Grit those teeth" before you do so. Would be mean to the janitors of the convention hall to clean up the blood from someone biting through their cheek or tongue.
