Spike tends to be disturbing every now and again around her.

And fails horribly because he's just a baby dragon crushing on who seems to be the most attractive pony in Ponyville.

Still, for all his faults, Spike would probably understand most of the pop-culture references you miss.

I think your assessment is incorrect prince.
ANYWAY, he doesn't really try to keep it a secret, it was just used for that one episode so they could have something for Twi to "break."

No one was even in the room when she blurted it out. Save Pinkie Pie, but she already knew and Twilight STILL had to apologize.

The reason it doesn't come off as a secret is because he SUCKS at keeping it a secret.
Pretty good TV this month too.LPPrince wrote...
I just realized that on top of all the kickass games coming out later this month and all next month, we're getting new pony episodes.
Its goooooood.
Speaking of the moral, I didn't like the way that episode was executed. Funny, yes, but I still facepalmed several times.EternalAmbiguity wrote...

I know, no one was in the room. It was just to better emphasize the "moral." Kind of funny when Spike's wearing that T-shirt though.

Amusing chat transcript with one of my recently de-closeted brony friends (Don't Fear The Reapers is me):
[GOAM] WhatsaHoN: btw, read the entire My Little Dashie story. Kept it in like a ****ing man! ...right until the part where everyone is crying and the dad is saying goodbye. Then the manly tears flowed. **** you for showing me that. It's now bookmarked.
Don't Fear The Reapers: I told ya.
Don't Fear The Reapers: Manly tears.
[GOAM] WhatsaHoN: so many ****ing maly tears.
Don't Fear The Reapers: I got kind of choked up (more out of d'aaaaw overload), but held it in until the letter.
Don't Fear The Reapers: I think I did pretty well, actually, considering I was in chat when I read it.
Don't Fear The Reapers: *choked up at the beginning
[GOAM] WhatsaHoN: the goodbye got me because I've heard the same kind of goodbye from my cousins dad when he went off to war. and at his funeral.
[GOAM] WhatsaHoN: and yeah im proud of you
Don't Fear The Reapers: But yeah, it got very emotional there in the comments section.
[GOAM] WhatsaHoN: i noticed. so many manly tears from so many manly bronies
Don't Fear The Reapers: Considering what most of us would likely to do to have a filly of the mane six IRL, I'm not really surprised.
[GOAM] WhatsaHoN: meh, daughter pony would be kewl. IMA DADDY **** YAH
[GOAM] WhatsaHoN: anyways g'night bro
[GOAM] WhatsaHoN: TIME FO DEAD ISLAND TILL I FORGET WHAT TIME IT IS
[GOAM] WhatsaHoN: FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
[GOAM] WhatsaHoN: CK
[GOAM] WhatsaHoN: YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

I would love it if there was an official flip-flop gender episode like what Adventure Time did a few weeks ago. That would be awesome.Andarthiel_Demigod wrote...
Watch those coltdubs but I really don't like some of their names, Bubble Berry? Butterscotch? They don't even sound anything like the original names. And Elusive sounds ahem flamboyant to the point of being a.... you know. Come to think of it so does Butterscotch, very unmanly.
personally, their aren't any games coming out that i'm certainly getting until 2012LPPrince wrote...

Eh, internet killed TV for me.
But all these games(Arkham and BF3 this month, a slew of others in November) plus new FiM, makes me one very happy Prince.
